Peach Caramel Layer
- Fresh or frozen canned peaches— 2 cups
- Melted Butter— 1/4 cup
- Brown Butter— 1/2 cup (packed)
Caked Batter
- Flour— 1-1/2 cups
- Cornstarch— 1 tablespoon
- Baking Soda— 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt— 1 teaspoon
- 2 Eggs
- Milk— 3/4 cup
- Melted Butter— 4 tablespoons
- Vanilla Extract— 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon Powder— 2 teaspoons
- Ginger Powder— 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg Powder— 1/4 teaspoon

How To Make Upside Down Peach Cake
- Preheat oven 350F.
- First prepare the cake batter. In a large mixing bowl combine eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla extract then fold in the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- Now evenly pour the melted butter into a lightly greased 9inch cake pan. Then evenly cover the butter with a generous layer of brown sugar. Make sure the entire surface of the cake pan is coated with brown sugar.
- Top the brown sugar with peaches arranged in your desired pattern (this will be the top of your cake).
- Lastly, pour the cake batter evenly into the pan over the peaches then bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the cake clean.
- Once the upside down peach cake is out of the oven allow it to set in the pan for about an hour then flip it onto a serving dish so the bottom peach layer is displayed.
