Ingredients

  • Baking Powder— 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla Powder— 1 tablespoon
  • 2 Eggs
  • Vegetable Oil— 1/4 cup
  • White Sugar— 1 cup
  • Sour Cream— 3/4 cup
  • Milk— 1/2 cup
  • Salt— 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla Extract— 1 tablespoon

Vanilla Espresso Glaze

  • Powdered Sugar— 2-1/2 cups
  • Espresso Powder— 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla Powder— 1/2 teaspoon
  • Milk or Cream— 2 teaspoons
  • Salt— 1/8 teaspoon

How to Make Vanilla Latte Loaf Cake

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, vegetable oil, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
  • Now fold in the flour, baking powder, cornstarch, vanilla powder, and salt. Alternate between folding in ingredients and pouring in the milk. Continue to fold in the batter until white streaks of flour completely disappear.
  • Pour the batter into a well greased 9×5 loaf pan then bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  • Now completely cover the cake with glaze then allow it to set for 15-30 minutes.
