Ingredients

  • Flour— 2 cups
  • Brown Sugar— 1/2 cup (packed)
  • Brown Butter— 1 stick
  • Baking Powder— 3/4 teaspoon
  • Salt— 1/2 teaspoon
  • 15oz Canned Peaches (drained)
  • Cinnamon— 1 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg— 1/2 teaspoon

  • 8×8 Brownie Pan

How to Make Peach Cobbler Bars

  • Preheat oven to 350F (177C).
  • Drain peaches then pour them into a small mixing bowl and use a fork to break them up into small pieces (some chunks are fine). Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg then set peaches aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine flour, brown butter, salt, and baking powder. Mix until dough forms.
  • Press an even layer of the dough down into the bottom of a well greased 8×8 baking pan. Be sure to save about a quarter of the dough for topping.
  • Now pour in the peaches then top with remaining dough.
  • Put the peach cobbler bars in the oven to bake for 25 minutes then allow them to set in the frigde.
  • Cut into 6 equal slices and enjoy!
