There’s no other dessert more charming than a bundt cake — the beautiful curves, the golden crust, and the way it effortlessly takes center stage on any dessert table. This Cherry Almond Bundt Cake is no exception. It’s a delightful blend of sweet cherries and warm almond flavor, wrapped up in a tender, buttery crumb that feels like a hug in cake form. Whether you’re baking it for a weekend brunch, a holiday gathering, or simply to treat yourself, this cake brings both elegance and comfort in every slice.

What I love most about this recipe is how it balances richness with a bright pop of fruit. The cherries add a juicy burst to every bite, while the almond extract brings out a subtle nuttiness that pairs perfectly with the moist, dense texture of the cake. It’s the kind of bake that looks impressive but comes together with simple ingredients and straightforward steps — no fancy techniques required. Top it off with some chopped almond filled streusel and you’ve got a show-stopping dessert that’s as delicious as it is beautiful.

How to Make a Cherry Almond Bundt Cake
- Preheat oven to 350F (177C).
- First, prepare the streusel. In a small mixing bowl combine the flour, sugar, salt, butter, and almonds until the mixture is a sandy texture. Now set the streusel aside in the fridge while you work on the cake batter.
- In a large mixing bowl whisk together eggs, vegetable oil, butter, buttermilk, vanilla and almond extracts. Add in flour, baking powder, salt, white and brown sugars then mix until ingredients are well combined.
- Pour the batter into a well greased tube pan then tap the pan against the counter a few times to get rid of any air bubbles. Now top the cake batter with an even layer of cherry pie filling and dried orange peel (if using) that goes all the way around the cake.
- Now for the final streusel layer. Completely cover the top of the cake with the streusel you made earlier then put the cake in the oven to bake for 45 minutes.
- Once the cake is finished baking allow it to cool in the pan for 15 minutes then flip it onto a cooling rack to finish cooling.
- When the cake has completely cooled flip it back upright onto a serving dish then slice and get ready to be transported to cherry-almond heaven.
