This whole wheat chocolate chip brownie recipe certainly does not lack in flavor. These brownies are so rich and indulgent your family won’t believe they’re whole wheat. Ingredients:
- Melted butter (1 cup)
- Brown sugar (2 cups packed)
- Cocoa powder (3/4 cups)
- Salt ( 1 teaspoon)
- Baking powder ( 1 teaspoon)
- Vanilla extract ( 2 teaspoons)
- 3 large eggs + one yolk
- Whole wheat flour ( 1 1/2 cups)
- Semisweet chocolate chips ( 1 1/2 cups)
- Milk powder ( 1 teaspoon)

Step 1
Combine whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, milk powder, salt, baking powder, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.

Step 2
Combine eggs and vanilla bean paste in a separate bowl.

Step 3
Combine wet and dry ingredients then stir in chocolate chips.

Step 5
Pre heat oven to 350, pour brownie batter into brownie pan and bake for 45 minutes.

Step 6
Allow 10 to 15 minutes to cool and enjoy!
Tip:
Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil to wet ingredients for a more moist brownie.
