Upside-down pineapple cake is a classic that needs no introduction. With this upside down pineapple cake recipe you can get that same goodness you go to your local bakery for without leaving the comfort of your own home. Don’t worry this upside down pineapple cake is super easy to make, and it’s so moist and flavorful It’ll be impossible not to go back for a second piece. Or a third (don’t worry I won’t judge you).

Ingredients:
- Pineapple cake mix
- 20 oz canned pineapples
- Maraschino cherries
- Brown sugar (1/2 cup packed)
- Stick of butter (melted)
- Cooking spray
- Eggs (for cake mix)
- Oil (for cake mix)

Step 1
Melt butter then stir in brown sugar.

Step 2
In a sprayed pan, drain canned pineapples and set juice aside. Spread melted butter mixture evenly across bottom of cake pan, then place pineapple slices with cherries on top.

Step 3
Follow instructions on boxed cake to prepare cake batter then stir in juice from canned pineapples.

Step 4
Pour cake batter into baking pan over melted butter mixture and pineapples.

Step 5
Pre heat oven to 350; bake for 45 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes to cool and enjoy!
