Ingredients

  • Butter— 3/4 cup (melted)
  • White Sugar— 1 cup
  • Flour— 2 cups
  • Baking Powder— 1/4 teaspoons
  • Lemon Juice— 1/4 cup
  • Vegetable Oil— 1/4 cup
  • Lemon Zest— 1 tablespoon
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt— 1 teaspoon

Lemon Glaze

  • Powdered Sugar— 1-1/2 cups(sifted)
  • Fresh Lemon Juice— 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon Zest— 1 teaspoon
  • 2-3 tablespoons of milk

What You’ll Need

  • 8×8 Brownie Pan
  • 1 Mixing Bowl

Fudgy Lemon Brownie Recipe

  • Preheat oven 350F.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine white sugar, melted butter, lemon juice, eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and lemon zest.
  • Fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt then transfer the mixture to a well greased 8×8 brownie pan in an even layer.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, allow the lemon brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  • Now for lemon glaze, combine powdered sugar and lemon zest. Add milk until desired consistency is reached.
  • Pour the lemon glaze over top of brownies once they have completely cooled. If the brownies are still warm the glaze will melt.
  • Slice and enjoy.
