Strawberry Shortcake Blondie

Ingredients:

  • All Purpose Flour (2 cups)
  • salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Baking Powder (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Baking Soda (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Dark Brown Sugar (1 cup) (packed)
  • 1 Egg
  • Melted Butter (1 cup)
  • Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)
  • Dried Strawberries (1 1/2 cups)
  • White Chocolate Chips (1 1/2 cups)

What You’ll Need:

  • Two Large Mixing Bowls
  • 9×9 Baking Pan
  • Parchment Paper

Recipe

In a large mixing bowl combine egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

In a separate mixing bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and dark brown sugar. Then combine both wet and dry mixtures and stir in dried strawberries and white chocolate chips (be sure to save some dried strawberries for a top dressing later).

Pre heat oven to 350. Line baking tray with parchment paper and carefully pour in batter. Bake for 30 minutes then top with more dried strawberries once blondies are fresh out of the oven (gently press strawberries down; they will set as blondie cools).
