Everyone knows that a movie night just isn’t complete without popcorn. The best thing about popcorn is that it makes the perfect blank slate. The possibilities are just endless. But today I’m going to show you a caramel popcorn recipe that you can make right from the the comfort of your own home.

Caramel popcorn is so easy to make and you only need a handful of ingredients. You can have a bowl ready in the time it takes to find something to watch on Netflix. The hardest part about this caramel popcorn recipe is keeping your self from eating the entire bowl.

Ingredients:
- Popped popcorn (5 cups)
- Unsalted butter (1/4 cup)
- Light brown sugar (1/2 cup) (packed)
- Light corn syrup (1/4 cup)
- Salt( 1/2 teaspoon)
- Vanilla extract (1/2 teaspoon)
- Baking soda (1/4 teaspoon)

Step 1
Combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Cook in a large skillet on medium high heat for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then take skillet off heat and add vanilla extract and baking soda.

Step 2
Pour mixture over popcorn and stir thoroughly. Be sure to work quickly because caramel mixture will harden .

Tip
- Popcorn will be chewy for a more crispy popcorn, Line cookie tray with parchment paper and bake popcorn for 30 mins (Stirring every 10 minutes).
