Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh strawberries (rinsed and dried)
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate (chopped or chips)
- 4 ounces white chocolate (chopped or chips)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or shredded coconut for topping (optional)
Recipe
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Ensure the strawberries are completely dry before beginning.
In a heatproof bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Add coconut oil if desired for a glossy finish.
Hold each strawberry by the stem, dip into the melted chocolate, and twist gently to let the excess drip off. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
Melt the white chocolate in a separate bowl using the same method. Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle the white chocolate over the dipped strawberries for decoration.
