Cream Cheese Frosting
- 8oz Cream Cheese
- Butter— 1 stick
- Powdered Sugar— 4 cups
- Salt— 1/2 teaspoon
- Vanilla Extract— 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk or Heavy Cream— 2-3 tablespoons (optional)

How to Make a Chocolate Chip Sheet Cake
- First, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Using an electric mixer on medium speed, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (this should take about 3 minutes). Now add in the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
- Now fold in the vanilla extract and vegetable oil by hand.
- Use a sifter to sift in flour, cornstarch , espresso powder, milk powder, salt , and baking powder.
- Mix dry into wet ingredients alternating between stirring and adding buttermilk until mixture has come together then fold in chocolate chips (do not overmix).
- Prepare a 9×13 pan with cooking spray then pour batter evenly into pan. Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Now prepare the frosting. Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy then add in powdered sugar one cup at a time, mixing after each addition.
- Fold in vanilla extract and salt then use milk to adjust thickness.
