Ingredients
- Strawberry Cake Mix
- One Egg, One Egg Yolk
- Vegetable oil (1/2 cup)
- Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)
- White Chocolate Chips (1 cup)
Cream cheese filling
- Softened Cream Cheese (8 oz)
- White Sugar (1/4 cup)
- Milk (1 tablespoon)
- Lemon Juice (4 teaspoons)
- One Lemon
What You’ll Need
- 8×8 Brownie Pan
- Hand Mixer
- Two Mixing bowls
- Measuring Spoons
- Measuring Cups
Recipe
- Make Strawberry Cake Batter
In a large mixing bowl combine strawberry cake mix, one egg and one egg yolk, Vegetable oil, vanilla and vanilla extract. Be sure to mix well (final batter should have a dough like consistency). Once batter is mixed stir in about a cup of white chocolate chips.

- Make Cream Cheese Filling
In a separate mixing bowl use a hand mixer to combine softened cream cheese (cream cheese will become soft when left out to reach room temperature), milk, sugar, and lemon juice. Mix until peaks form. After that you’ll need to need to add lemon zest: stir in lemon zest from one lemon into mixture by hand.

- Layer Cake Batter and Cream Cheese Frosting
Use half of the cake batter to form an even layer in a greased brownie pan. Layer cream cheese filling on top of cake batter. The filling should be added in blotches instead of an even layer. Finally, top with remaining cake batter in blotches just as we did with cream cheese filling (this will result in a marble-like effect).

- Bake
Pre heat oven to 350. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean.
