The Classic Brownie

There are few desserts that match the universal appeal of a well crafted brownie. With it’s irresistible chocolate goodness and fudgy texture, there’s a reason brownies have held their place in people’s hearts for so long.

For many people brownies are more than just a tasty snack, they’re a symbol for joy and nostalgia. Just one bite into these fudge like brownies and you’ll be transported back to your grandmothers kitchen with the smell of rich chocolate in the air.

As much as I love to bake off the the wall desserts, this is a classic recipe that I always come back to. In my humble opinion there are three words that describe a good brownie: rich, chocolatey, and fudgy. This recipe calls for a tiny bit of expresso powder to add depth and complexity to the chocolate flavor. Feel free to refrigerate leftovers (if there are any), as these brownies are also delicious when served chilled. But my favorite time enjoy a brownie will always be fresh out the oven when they’re still warm.
