  • Cinnamon— 1 tablesoon
  • Nutmeg— 1/2 teaspoon

  • 8×8 Baking Pans
  • Parchment Paper

How to Make Blueberry Sugar Swirl Cake

  • First, prepare the cinnamon sugar. In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg then set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 350F then combine wet ingredients. Combine eggs, sour cream, oil in a mixing bowl until ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Now for the dry ingredients. In a separate mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar.
  • Mix the the dry ingredients then fold in the blueberries.
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper then pour in half of the batter. Top with an even layer of cinnamon sugar, be sure to reserve half of the cinnamon sugar.
  • Pour in the rest of the batter then top with the remaining cinnamon sugar and use a toothpick to swirl.
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean (a few moist crumb are fine).
  • Allow the cake to cool then slice an enjoy.
