Popcorn balls are a fun way to make popcorn that the whole family will enjoy. Popcorn is a classic snack that can be prepared in many fun ways and popcorn balls are one of my favorites. There a sweet and of course crunchy alternative to normal popcorn.

Don’t worry these popcorn balls are super easy to make. You’ll only need one bowl and you can make a batch in fifteen minutes. The kids will love forming and decorating them. Popcorn balls make the perfect blank slate; from sprinkles to chocolate or caramel drizzle, the options are endless.

Ingredients:
- Butter (1/2 stick)
- Sugar (1 cup)
- Corn syrup (1/2 cup)
- Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/4 teaspoon)
- About 10 cups of popped popcorn.

Step 1
Melt down corn syrup, butter, sugar, and salt in a large skillet. Heat until mixture starts to boil. Take mixture off heat then stir in vanilla extract. Be sure to work quickly because mixture will begin to harden once taken off heat.

Step 2
Pour mixture over popped popcorn and stir in well, then from into balls and let sit on cookie tray lined with parchment paper to harden. Popcorn balls will only take a couple minutes to harden.
