Blueberry Muffins will always hold a special place in my heart. Before I learned to bake blueberry muffins on my own I bought them every chance I got. Once I learned to make them on my own, I quickly realized that absolutely NOTHING compares to homemade blueberry muffins. This blueberry muffin recipe features a streusel crumble and a cream cheese frosting.

These Blueberry Muffins are super moist and just melt in your mouth. Once you take that first bite I promise it will be like love at first sight. The cream cheese frosting is like the icing on the cake (no pun intended). But seriously the cream cheese frosting pairs so well with these blueberry muffins.

Ingredients:
- All purpose flour (2cups)
- Cake flour (1/2 cup)
- Granulated sugar (3/4 cups)
- Baking powder (1 1/2 teaspoons)
- Baking soda (1/2 teaspoons)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Cinnamon (1/4 teaspoon)
- Heavy whipping cream (1 1/4 cups)
- 2 eggs
- Vanilla extract (2 teaspoons)
- Blueberries (1 1/2 cups)
Streusel
- All purpose flour (1 1/4 cups)
- Light brown sugar (1/2 cups
- Sugar (1/3 cups)
- Salt (1/4 teaspoons)
- Cold butter (6 tablespoons)
Cream cheese frosting
- Softened cream cheese (4 oz)
- Unsalted butter (room temperature) (4 tablespoons)
- Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- Powdered sugar (1 cup)
- Heavy cream (1 to 6 tablespoons)(adjust to desired thickness)
What You’ll Need:
- Muffin tin
- Cookie scoop
- Cupcake liners
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- 4 mixing bowls
- Hand mixer
- Pastry cutter
Recipe:
To make streusel
Combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Then use pastry cutter to work in butter. Tip: Consistency should be crumbly over working will cause streusel to be more dough like.

To make cream cheese frosting
Use hand mixer to mix butter and cream cheese until frosting is fluffy, then stir in sugar and heavy cream.

To make blueberry muffins
Step 1
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2
Combine eggs, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract in a separate mixing bowl.

Step 3
Combine wet and dry ingredients then fold blueberries into batter.

Step 4
Line muffin tin with cupcake liners then pour in blueberry muffin batter and top with streusel.

Step 5
Preheat oven to 375, bake blueberry muffins for 30 minutes. Allow muffins to cool then then top with cream cheese frosting.
